STRAWBERRY MANGO SMOOTHIE
If you love strawberries and Mangoes, this smoothie is for you. Mango fruit of this season in India. I love to use always love to use seasonal and regional ingredients. Strawberries are more than a good treat—they’re high in B vitamins and vitamin C. B vitamins help you maintain beautiful hair and nails, and have even been linked to reducing the chance of stroke. Vitamin C is good for the immune system. Mango has health benefits for the eyes, hair, and nails as well. It’s also considered one of the most consumed fruits in the world.Together, the two make for a wonderfully healthy smoothie.
Ingredients
2 mangoes, peeled and pitted
8 ounces (225 g) strawberries
(about 8 large strawberries)
1 cup (240 ml) coconut water
1 cup (130 g) crushed ice
1 tablespoon chia seeds, plus more for optional topping
Method:
- If you want to make things easier on yourself in the morning, you
can prep all the fruits the night before.Then all you need to do is
blend. - Put all the ingredients in a high-power blender and blend until smooth, 2 to 3 minutes.
- For best results, serve immediately, sprinkled with chia seeds, if desired

ALMOND BANANA SMOOTHIE
Protein smoothies are always in demand,This smoothie not only tastes like a dessert, it
also provides a good amount of protein with the rolled oats and almond butter. The coconut milk provides some fats, and the bananas add some sweetness. one may add scoop of whey protein.
Ingredients
2 frozen bananas
1½ cups (360 ml) coconut milk (or one 13.5-ounce [400 ml] can coconut milk)
¼ cup (25 g) gluten-free rolled oats (or quinoa flakes)
2 tablespoons unsalted almond butter
1½ tablespoons cacao powder
½ teaspoon almond extract Handful of chocolate chips for garnish, optional
Method:
- In a high-power blender, combine all the ingredients except the chocolate chips and blend until smooth. This takes only a minute or two.
- Pour and garnish with the chocolate chips, if using. Serve immediately or freeze in ice cube trays for re-blending later.
Tip: While making fruit smoothies use fresh fruits, make slices and freeze them overnight in a fruit box, it will really keep you prepared for instant 5 minute smoothies.
